Emergency Radiologist

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a Per Diem Emergency Radiologist to provide remote evening and/or weekend coverage for their Emergency Department. This role offers a flexible schedule with 4-8 hour shifts and the opportunity to extend hours based on departmental needs. The selected candidate will work remotely alongside other attending radiologists and residents, interpreting various imaging studies.

  • Option to interpret outpatient and inpatient cases (in addition to ED cases)

Responsibilities

  • Interpret body and chest CT, ultrasound, and radiographs for the Emergency Department
  • Interpret basic MRI (plus but not required)

Compensation

  • Competitive starting hourly rate of $350 per hour or commensurate with experience

Shift & Schedule

  • Per Diem
  • Hours Vary
  • Flexible 4-8 hour shifts on weekday evenings from 5:00 PM-12:00 AM and weekends from 8:00 AM-9:00 PM
  • Opportunity to extend hours based on availability and departmental needs

Requirements

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Radiology
  • Eligible for or currently holding a New York State medical license
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, high-efficiency environment
