Perform sheet metal fabrication tasks such as cutting, bending, and shaping materials to precise specifications. Operate various tools and machinery, including shears, presses, and rollers, to create high-quality products. Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accuracy in production. Follow established safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet project deadlines. Continuously monitor and maintain the quality of work being produced, making adjustments as needed. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the fabrication process. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in sheet metal fabrication techniques. Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members to provide updates on project progress. Take initiative in identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving measures. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to quality control and waste reduction.
